Weeksville Watchnight — Film Screening & Talkback

Movie night returns to Weeksville! Our ongoing film series Weeksville Watchnight returns Thursday, August 27th from 6-9 pm.

We'll be joined by spiritual practitioner and educator Juju Bae (@itsjujubae) as we screen a series of short films focused on the Africana Spiritualities that exist across the Diaspora. We'll explore themes of memory, ancestral mysticism, and the use of art to address the mischaracterizations of these long-standing traditions.

The screening will be followed by a talkback with artist and filmmaker SHAN Wallace (@_yoshann).

Free and open to the public. RSVP via the link in bio.
