⚙️ Labor Working Group Newsletter - August 7th ⚙️
NYC-DSA is now 15,000 members strong! We've won power at all levels of government. How can we bring this momentum to the labor movement?
Join us for the quarterly NYC-DSA Labor Working Group (LWG) General Membership Meeting (GMM) on Thursday, August 20, 6:00 – 7:30 PM, in person + Zoom. Come take an active role in the development of our socialist labor strategy! Learn about organizing new shops, public-sector bargaining, and how worker organizing can flourish under a socialist mayor.
This event is open to all—union and non-union, new and longtime members, and non-members interested in learning about our work. Bring your DSA-curious coworker!
The event will be at the Many Hands Convergence Space. PLEASE RSVP TO RECEIVE THE ADDRESS! Zoom link will be sent before the meeting.
